MA in Education Technology Program Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the MA in Educational Technology program, learners will be
able to:
- Understand how technology can be effectively employed in a variety
of educational applications
- Implement innovative applications of technology
with an emphasis on software evaluation
- Practice the integration of
technology in classroom instruction and management
- Effectively implement
multimedia technologies in classroom environments
- Read/Write Web resources
for PK-12 students in a classroom setting
- Evaluate issues relative to the use
of new learning technologies in the classroom that can emphasize theory
supporting applied technologies
- Use distance learning technologies to teach
in instructional settings (teaching online).
- Critically evaluate current
issues and trends in the practices of classroom instruction and curriculum
development and apply that knowledge appropriately in the development of
curricula and instructional strategies.
