Fort Riley Access
Civilian Access
Civilians will need the following to access Fort Riley:
Vehicle Registration
Location and Hours of Operation: The
Vehicle Registration Office is located at the Main Visitor Center, 885 Henry
Drive at the Marshall Army Airfield entrance to Fort Riley next to the
Directorate of Contracting. Authorized customers may register their vehicles 24
hours per day 7 days per week. Phone numbers are (785) 239-3884 or (785)

Services: Permanent registration of privately owned vehicles of active
duty military assigned to Fort Riley, DoD/DA civilian employees employed on Fort
Riley, military retirees living in the geographical area of Fort Riley and
others as authorized by the Garrison Commander including selected contract
employees, Friends of Fort Riley and employees of businesses located on Fort
Riley. Additionally, temporary long term passes may be issued to individuals TDY,
Reserve and National Guard members temporarily assigned to Fort Riley for annual
training (AT) or mobilization, contract employees not authorized permanent
registration and other visitors to Fort Riley.
The following listed documents must be presented at the time of registration.
Valid Identification – Military or civilian identification to verify
status. Mobilization orders may be required for Reserve and National Guard
soldiers.
Valid State Driver's License
Current State Vehicle Registration – newly purchased vehicles may be
registered with the proper proof of purchase and registration. Call ahead for
specific requirements.
Proof of liability insurance – Kansas Automobile Insurance Identification
Card.
Additional requirements for permanent installation motorcycle
registration.
