Welcome to
ProfEd's Faculty Orientation
This orientation is designed to help you get started as a member of CMU's part-time faculty and to introduce you to the many resources available to you. Our hope is that your experience with us will be a worthwhile journey as you represent CMU throughout the world.
This orientation is required for all instructors in the part-time temporary pool, including all instructors who have taught within the past two years. This includes online, face-to-face, tutorial and international instructors.
Upon completion of the orientation, you will be prompted to submit a form to confirm your completion of all sessions and to provide feedback to us. This orientation will take approximately two hours to complete.
