The Master of Arts degree with a specialization in the Humanities is for people who enjoy making connections across disciplines. Students take courses in literature, history, art, music, philosophy, religion, and film. Interdisciplinary Humanities seminars are also offered. Classes meet in a weekend format for a cohort of students. Each sequence follows a particular theme such as “The Humanities and Global Cultures,” “Nature, the Humanities and the Question of Identity,” or “The Humanities and Popular Culture.”
