CMU also maintains active membership in local area chambers of commerce, including Detroit Regional Chamber, Auburn Hills, Southfield and Troy. A CMU representative also actively participates on the Troy Business and Education Round Table (TBERT).
Central Michigan University has been part of the Atlanta area for over 25
years. To show our appreciation, for seven weeks beginning January 22, 2005,
CMU, through its Atlanta Center, sponsored the construction of a Habitat for
Humanity house in Atlanta. Our house was built alongside those sponsored by
national talk radio host and consumer advocate
