Central Michigan University has a strong core value of community service. On our main campus in Mount Pleasant, Michigan as well as over 60 locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico, CMU employees are involved in the communities where they work.

 
CMU in Atlanta reaches out to the community

 

Community is an important word at CMU’s Atlanta Center. The staff is always looking for new ways to help improve the life of children and adults and spread educational opportunities to everyone in their area. CMU in Metro Detroit

 

CMU assists with development efforts and supports key events with the following organizations in the greater metropolitan Detroit area:

 

 

CMU also maintains active membership in local area chambers of commerce, including Detroit Regional Chamber,  Auburn Hills, Southfield and Troy. A CMU representative also actively participates on the Troy Business and Education Round Table (TBERT).
